Our Programs

Colorado Youth at Risk offers a variety of programs supporting youth from 9th grade through graduation:

Steps Ahead for Youth

Steps Ahead for Youth is a one year intensive community -based mentoring program for ninth graders. It sets itself apart by delivering a five day residential Launch Course, monthly structured workshops with a community of mentors and youth and one- on-one mentoring.

The program serves 90 youth annually.

95% of the students in Steps Ahead program stay in school.

Touchstone

Touchstone is a program for tenth through twelve graders that supports youth that have completed Steps Ahead. This program focuses on getting the youth back in touch with the foundational skills they have learned, providing them with an environment to use these skills as they plan for their future. Touchstone focuses on grades, graduation, college preparation, interviewing skills, tutoring and career development projects.

The program serves over 35 youth annually.
